Focus Research & Development Pvt. Ltd., an associate of Life IT has developed a Med-Colorimeter which is a simple paper cartage integrated with a Smartphone-type device for rapid testing of pathological samples. Considering the benefits of spot diagnosis, this diagnostic tool is likely to be very helpful for primary healthcare centers.This project is headed by Prof. Suman Chakraborty, Director of Focus R & D and Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in IIT Kharagpur.

Life IT also has considerable experience in supplying premium quality medical devices and equipmentcatering to a wide range of needs of the healthcare industry. It is the business partner of Carl ZEISS, internally acclaimed group of companies in the optical and optoelectronic industries.

In a new feather to its cap, Life IT is setting-up a 150 bedded Super-Specialty Hospital, supplemented with diagnostic services including Cath Lab, ICU, NCU, CT/MRI, Component Blood Bank and Operation Theatres at one of the prime locations in Kolkata, West Bengal.

Life IT is also planning to establish Medical, Dental and Nursing colleges to offer MBBS, BDS, Nursing, Para Medical and Hospital Management courses in different parts of the country.

The Team

Dr. Subir Choudhury

Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University.

Dr. Subir Choudhury has multifaceted experience in the field of Higher Education, Research & Development and Information Technology for over two decades.

He is the Trustee & Founder Director of B.P. Poddar Institute of Management & Technology and St. Thomas’ College of Engineering & Technology.

Dr. Choudhury is the Managing Director of Educare Services Pvt. Ltd. which has set-up the Scholar Mission School, a CBSE affiliated K-12 school in Kanpur. Educare is also setting-up a state-of-art digital technology enabled residential smart school of global standard in Kolkata.

In 2008 Educare has established its first international branch at Dubai, UAE which is establishing a research-led Science & Technology University in Dubai under the Academic Mentorship of internationally acclaimed IIT-KGP and IIT Bombay. The University will go on stream in the Academic Year 2022-23. Educare has its second international branch at London, UK.

Dr. Choudhury is the Director of Focus Research & Development Pvt. Ltd. Aiming at high-end Technology Development this Company has been incubated in Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Park (STEP) at IIT Kharagpur with three renowned professors of IIT Kharagpur.

To cater the IT needs in UAE and allied gulf areas Dr. Choudhury established DC Technologies FZ LLC, a Joint-Venture company with DCG Data Core Systems India Pvt. (100% subsidiary of Data Core Systems Inc, US).

Dr. Asim Kumar Bardhan

MD, D. Cardiology, FCCP.
An internationally acclaimed Cardiologist Dr. Asim Kumar Bardhan has over five decades of experience practicing medicine in various hospitals and clinics in India and abroad. He has a large number of publications to his credit and attended various National and International Conferences like PCR, TCT, Euro-Cardiology and others.
Dr. Bardhan was the head of the Doctor’s panel for proving treatment to Saint Teresa – the Mother and also the panel treating the former President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee.
